My stepdaughter just got back from working in Sweden for two months. She came to visit us today and decided to spend the night so we are making wings and gonna watch a movie!
Here’s what she brought us.

Nope no good. You need a dalla horse from Lindsborg KS or they dont count. Set her straight Yes Sir.

My kid wanted to bring back this Swedish souvenir when we were in Sweden in summer of 2023 but the souvenir wouldn’t fit in his rooksack.

Actually that was a waitress in a little outside bar in Dalarna during midsomer. At first she refused to pose with Will but after a while she changed her mind and I got that great shot. Will did manage to snag a different waitress in Stockholm that he became friends with. The winning line was from dad: "I've never kissed a Swedish girl before". When I recommended that he just groaned and said that was lame. But eventually in desperation when he couldn't think of one of his own....and it worked!

I see we have the same idea of souvenir. My first thought when I read the title.

Dalla horses are like the national symbol of Sweden beside the flag. Back in Leftys and my old stomping grounds is a town named Lindsborg, its known as little Sweden USA. Lot of Swedish immigrants settled in that area, including most of my ancestors. They have a Dalla horse factory there. Big thing in that area. I bet Lefty has even spent some time in th Ol Stuga with Randy.
