Very nice. Looks like it shot well.

I love my encores. Looking at getting a 400 legend for mine.

Looks great. I love my encore it was the first gun I had ever held that had a vertical grip angle. The year they came out a local shop had one someone ordered but didn't pick up yet. They showed it to me and I ordered one in .50 muzzle loader. It was my primary deer killing machine for years.

I cant decide on caliber. But I love single shots they are light and short, shorter with the same length barrel
of other actiind due to not having th 6 inches or so of added length for the action. That being important if adding suppresors and wanting as much barrel length as possible while still keeping the guns handling reasonable and velocity in an acceptable range.

Fun to shoot ain't it? And better when shooting deer. Plenty of ammo around.Cheaper than shooting a sabot deer slug.

When Illinois first let us shoot straight walls T/C didn’t make the barrel so I bought a CVA scout which shoots well but is a small framed rifle . I loved the drop on the T/C muzzle loader so when I saw the barrel I was sold immediately

Ive read poor reviews on Mgm barrels...no personal experience, but its worth mentioning that a lot of thorough research should take place prior to dealing with them.

It's been a long time since I was doing research i wonder if something has changed? Back then I was reading a lot of positive things and they were the go to for tc barrels thet shot better then the factory ones.

Could have been a bunch of shills making noise for them or likely people that dont actually shoot just buy gear and make reviews about how its the greatest. Or maybe something like ownership changed? I dont know but that whare I was planing on buying from when I ordered something. Now I have to hold off and look them up again.

Again, no personal experience with Mgm. I do have a T/C Prohunter and been thinking bout a 308 barrel in my future so I have been doing a little reading. These links above are just a start....enough to make me very weary of them.

I really like my CVA Scout in 350L. Light, compact gun easy to get through the woods with and it will shoot better than I can shoot it.

Bought mine through EABCO also. And TC owns Green Mountain Barrels now.

Won’t argue that they really shoot well it’s just a preference issue for me
