Was wondering if anyone owns some of the newer ones. How do they stack up against the older versions?? Been thinking about ordering one just to see what they are all about. I do own some Bridger and duke 11 as far as the newer ones go. I do like the Bridger but I think the dukes kinda close a bit slow. I know the Cadillac of #11 are the sleepy creek,,, but they are tough to find ( I’ve never seen them personally). Sterling has some new ones they have come out with too,,, dogless 11 ,, kinda curious about them too.

Oneida Victor is making a new #11?
That's news to me. I guess I should state that they are the current ones offered for sale by various suppliers… ones made after 9os per say.

I have, in a way. I took some newer vic #1's and added a new long spring to the other side. They work fine. As for "adding up against" the older version i don't know. Never had them. I don't know why they would be any different except not having the short wide spring the old ones had

If I was looking for some #11's, there is Sleepy Creek, and then there is everything else. I've managed to snag some SC's off ebay.......but there is also the Trap Shed........either for sale or post a Want To Buy. Given time, they will show up.
As for 2nd place, I don't have samples of them all, but Northwoods was pretty good. Have kept an eye out for Victor #11, have never seen one.
As for new, the Bridger is below the older traps, and needs help, but OK. The current, new Duke #11.......don't bother.

Are these different from the Oneida Newhouse #11s that have been out for quite awhile? If so, how?
I dumped all my Sleepy #11s in favor of these years ago. Had problems with the loose jaw flipping up when a spring would rotate around.

Can still buy Blake&Lamb 11s at Cumberland NW Trappers Supply for $107/dozen.
It has the nut/bolt pan post.

B & L, if they have the old springs as the #1 single spring, they must be a beast to set. Their single springs #1s are amazing for being 40 years old......jk
