Got home a few hours ago. Took a nice nap on my own bed.
It's very nice to have some feeling back in my hands. It's going to get better from here on out.
I had a goal of having at least one trap in the ground after my back surgery in November. I met it with having 2 traps set and caught a Bobcat the next day

I have a goal for this go round of being on the water somewhere on June 19th.
I don't care if I have to take a guided trip to do it. Lol.

Looking forward to this coming trapping season, though we're still a ways away from it
It'll take me a while to get ready.

This surgery gives me a better outlook on being retired as silly as it sounds.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayers, we appreciate each and every one.

I had the same surgery and let me tell you, it got a whole lot worse before it started getting better, for me at least. I told my daughter I would stay with her for a day or 2....that ended up being 3+ weeks. Couldnt eat for a week and a half from them crimping my throat when they pulled it over for access. Gave me nothing for pain, I remember running in circles trying to get away from the pain. Maybe Im just a big baby but WOW, I thought I could take pain better than that. My first surgery and they wanted to do more below, I politely said I would rather die than go through that again.
