Moxidectin is a good drug. Bayer has several veterinary brands that come as topical drops, such as Coraxis, Advocate, Advantage Multi, etc.

I use it to get rid of burrowing mites that jump on me from marten. It seeps into the skin and into the bloodstream and kills roundworms too, so technically it's a dog dewormer. I cannot recommend it though because I don't care much about my life expectancy and overall health.


Just use pyrantel if you have roundworms, it's safe, non-prescription and cheap.

Don't try to treat yourself if you have flukes or tapeworms, it can kill you.

1st sign is if your doing the boot skoot boogie.

ivermectin should kill whats in you, the horse wormer will work....won't kill tape worms if that's what you got, lol

Boot n scoot is usually first sign of problems with anal gland....add fiber to their diet.

Just chew your toenails....that should take care of all of your internal parasites.

I did one time when I was 3.
There was a shelf up above the kitchen window. I could see a small brown envelope. I pulled open the cabinet doors in such a way as to create a set of stairs and climbed up there to get it.
In that little envelope was what looked like 2 yellow M&Ms.
I ate the first one, but it was awful. I can taste it right now. My 3 year old brain just figured that I got a bad one, so I ate the other one. It was no better.
I didn't tell on myself until I was 18. That's when I found out they were wormer pills for the dog.

I've wondered about worms. How do you know if you have them? All the dead critters I've handled. I've probably shot half a dozen or more coon out with worms or funk of some kind hanging out of them. You still gotta catch the dog and get it released. Lord knows it everywhere. You guys wear gloves for deer?

I would think the smart move would be to see your doctor if you think you have worms.

I believe the thinking is that everyone has worms and our doctors don't treat them. There is a theory that waste from the worms can cause bloating and cancer. Said a friend.

I did once, and they blamed it on my cattle.Yard and one pill took care of the issue...
