The guy could flat out wheel a race car. He brought a lot to the sport and will be missed.

He also gave a lot of great drivers their start by putting them in his Kyle Bush Motorsports trucks in the truck series. Not to mention a record 68 wins in the series himself.

Was he the last of the drivers in his age group ?

Wonder what got him? Wasn't his biggest fan but hate to see this.

Just off the top of my head, I believe so....
I remember when he started at Hendick he wrecked everything he drove. Once he learned some restraint he started to win all the time.
The last few years at Childress were kinda rough, but I think they were on the verge of a turnaround. Dang it.

I hated to hear this. I never pulled for him, but he was more "Old School" than alot of these new kids driving. He and his wife donated a lot of money to help families pay for IVF pregnancies (Bundle of Joy Foundation).

I always rooted for him to be stuffed into the wall, because he was that good. Shocking and sad news. RIP Kyle.
