County to the north holds their's at Atlanta Motor Speedway complete with fireworks.

BTW my youngest girl is graduating.

Around here they try to do it outdoors, but move to the gym if the weather is bad. Must not be an option for you guys.

As it was the scheduled 5pm start was delayed until 535. Lightning struck at 540 after the gates opened. Told via PA to seek shelter delayed until 610. Ceremony began unannounced at 620. Managed to get ot in just ahead of the bottom dropping out. All in all a total cluster, as is par for the course in this county.

As long as I've lived here, I and many others throughout the county have lobbied for some sort of convention type center associated with the UGA experiment station campus located here in town. Heck, there's a ten acre empty site directly across from the campus that was one of the three now defunct cotton mills. The county is losing business.
