Some of them girls were my ticket to the US. On the other hand, some came up and never left…..lol.
Good times were returned when 21 came around and we got invited south.

My girlfriend in college lived in Upstate New York. She worked in a grocery store and had the same experience with Canadians. The Canadians came to smuggle beer back into Canada.

She and the other employees got docked if they had more than a tiny amount of Canadian coins in their registers.
