![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2026/05/full-698-293780-img_4855.jpeg) Received a package in today’s mail with a whole bunch of castor-spice soap. It smell’s great! I can certainly smell the castor, kind of a leather smell. I can hardly wait to try it out.... wonder what the critters will think? Might have to be on the watch-out near rivers and lakes. LOL Thanks Bob! You’re the best!

Don't bend over near the river!, From the thrashings I see imposed on trespassing beavers on our big river.... I think bending over would be the least of my worries!

That's great Bob. During land trapping season my wife swears I wash with skunk essence soap. Then when I switch to water trappin she says I smell sweet as Castor. I couldn't imagine her surprise if she saw that soap box outside the shower I bet that peach cilantro is great too

Very cool Bob.
Beaverpeeler, I believe you have Mr. Jamison‘s permission to produce that soap. If you decide to go that route, you can put me down for some.
Eh...wot?

Ha! You're just jealous because beavers have always liked me more than you Chuck!
....Great one Keith. My wife just about peed her pants when she saw that pic. I may use that next time I have to testify about beaver trapping at our state's legislative hearings.

Well, had my shower with the Mountain Man soap minutes ago. I'm squeaky clean and smell great. I have a very faint smell of castor on me. I love it!

To properly honor Bob's gift to me of the Mountain Man castor soap recipe I will be trying my hand at a batch in the future. Will likely need to wait until this winter to get ingredients. I will follow his recipe with the exception of instead of bobcat fat I'll try beaver fat and/or BTO. I think I may offer up some bars on the Trap Shed when I do.
