Those little brookies are some great tasting fish.
The cold water creeks ditches and beaver ponds are polluted with them here.

Nice trout Bruce! Some great eating!
One of my favorite brook trout streams has been taken over by browns. They have ate most of the brookies and some of the brown trout are reaching the two foot mark. I would much rather catch the smaller brook trout for eating.

The small brook trout are much better eating than the big ones.
And they bite like pirahnas

Cast a small spinner towards an old beaver feedbed and you can see 5 or 6 brookies chasing the spinner in the crystal clear water.

They sure are good eating.
I wish we had the problem with them "polluting" some streams around here.

Wife told me to put on clean socks every day. I tried, but after 7 days, I could hardly get my shoes on.

Do you cook them and then lay them on a Saltine?

I have nothing clever to put here.
