How's everyone one bending their coni triggers for mink is one better than the other I've read that some guys have a light wire or fishing line tied across the bottom of the triggers 110s 120s and 160s

I’m not meaning to put you off StoneCo but there was a mink/trigger thread on here just a short time ago. I’m sure doing some searching in this “trapping only” forum AND in the “water trapping” archives you’ll find all you ever wanted to know about trigger configurations for mink BGs.

I use wooden pans on conis for mink and marten almost exclusively.


Just doing what I want now.

We have open water all year wouldn't that limit me to just dry land

Yes, but other than bottom edge-type sets, most/all of my mink sets are dry. The occasional pocket set that might have an inch or so of water in the bottom would still be just perfect with wood "pedals".
If the mink is walking, wood pedals are the way, for me.
