When looking at gun broker don't forget to add shipping and transfer fees to the listed price.

Around here the used ones in decent shape start about $400 and go up from there.

I might be tempted to drop $400. I see well used but fully functional bringing $500 and it just keeps going up from there.

These are gun shows and I do like to put my hands on a used fire arm. It could be that a little room to haggle is in the pricing and I have just not negotiated enough.

I bought my 3 screw Single Six in 1971 on my 21st birthday. Like new with extra cylinder and holster, $75. Have packed it many miles. Good shooter with much of the blue gone. Had the factory conversion kit installed long ago. Still have the original parts.

I’ve got a couple new style and two or three 3 screws. One is Nib from 71. 400 is a good number on a new style. I have a few bearcats as well. Both new and old. Prefer the bearcats for the trap, one. Fwiw.

I bought a stainless Ruger with two cylinders back in 1978. I don’t take it trapping, too nice of a gun for me to beat up.

I paid $550 for one in nearly new condition two years ago, with a mag cylinder, all original boxes and papers. Dang nice gun

I see these Wranglers for a reduced price, and have questioned the quality of those compared to the single six. What say you?
