I had read about the invasive Japanese Barberry creating a welcoming environment for ticks, and now the invasive Wineberry bush has as well.

This guy's channel is a really great follow, by the way...

Prevention of fire is also why serviceberry, wild plum and American hazel nut are much less common too.
