Does anyone from here ever go to it or have ever been to it? I believe it is a 4 day event.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I’ve been to it as much as I enjoy the mountain man history and going to the same places as they did in Wyoming the rendezvous is way too crowded for me I am a member of the Sublette County Historical Society and love the museum but not during the rendezvous I do plan to be out along the Sweetwater River and Oregon Buttes after the Wyoming trappers convention and then again before John Graham’s get together that is some of the best country to camp in and explore

Thank you! I am kicking around the idea of taking in the rendezvous as well as Gold Rush Days in Atlantic City and then spend a week playing with the bears for a week up in the Winds North of Pinedale. I found a lake with Grayling and that has been on my bucket list forever.

Last year in August I tried the Union Pass Road (Pinedale to Dubois) it’s approximately 76 miles and I thought I had been on some rough roads in Wyoming but that one was one of the worst as far as I went There was a forest fire off to the east around Green River Lake so I chickened out because I didn’t think there was anyway I could out run a fire on that road if it headed my way That’s god’s country out there for sure
