Can some of you show pictures of your coyote boards. I’m getting ready to build a few more. Wanting to build them bottleneck style. I have seen a couple videos but they are different than some I have seen. I could just copy what I have but see where the necks slimmed down could provide a better looking product.

Thanks
wws

There are dimensions for the Canadian bottleneck board out on the Web somewhere or on a video, can’t remember where I got them exactly and I’ve chit-canned’em a long time ago when NAFA told me not to use them!!!

My design in probably the "Canadian Bottleneck" that Seldom refers to. They are close to to far left one in Seldom's top picture with a tighter/smaller face and neck than what he shows. I have never had a local buyer say anything but good things about how my fur looks since I went with that design. Before that, when my boards were more like the far right board in Seldom's top picture, I got comments about over stretching the necks. I can't readily find a picture of my boards but here is a link to my YouTube video where I give all the dimensions for getting that tighter taper for the face and necks. I use a similar design for fox as well.

I did watch your videos, you do a great job describing everything and I have enjoyed your channel. Last coyotes I put up I got a pretty fair price for at the Oregon auction. Those were on top lot stretchers. I’m planning on building some with western red cedar, just trying to figure what pattern I want to use. Also thank you Seldom, your input helps also.
I’ll look more tomorrow 3:30 is coming fast halibut fishing in the morning.
