Never had much interest in PCC's or 45APC but PSA had these for $50 and after reading the description couldn't resist grin

WD, you haven't even got this chainsaw business settled yet and you're already hopping off and buying gun parts.

One thing at a time grasshopper!

That's a smoking deal, wonder why it requires "tinkering"? I hate Tinkering...

Would require some additional tinkering:

Maybe you could weld up something where you could mount that NEW battery chainsaw on the bayonet lug of your NEW .45 AR rifle. Could have the best of both worlds then. Added reach to the saw for pruning and in a crisis would be handy if ammo ran low.

that with an 5-10 inch barrel suppressed would be @#$%^&*()_ awesome

the 9mm AR runing 147subs 5 inch barrel 8 inch can, you can not hear the gun fire from 100 yards away standing next to a running vehicle a factory f150 with normal exhaust idling not like a loud vehicle.

on a dead still night it is a clack nose like the pin on the gate just dropped. closing the tail gate of the old truck makes more noise. totally hearing safe

the 45 would let you run 230gr factory ammo or reloads even +P stuff and be well below the sound barrier

with a good high volume 46 cal can you are going to have a semi auto hoginator and never even wake the wife up shooting in the yard at 02:00

you will probably need a custom buffer setup , as heavy as you can get it so that your ejection is like 4-5 feet out on the ground.
they feel a little weird with that much reciprocating mass that far back in the gun but it shoots real soft. and sort of bumps forward with negative recoil when the bold closes.

I understand finding deals before you commit to a purchase, my question is have you ever bought anything but not posted online about it?

Hypothetically, couldn't you likely run .45 Super and really push some big lead fast?

Everyone else is thinking slow & quiet and I'm wondering if you could push a 230ish grain bullet to 1,700 fps through this thing and have it hold together. Be pretty slick gun in the woods if you could run hardcast bullets that'd blow a .45 cal hole through a deer or pig. I have a .450 Bushmaster for that exact thing but a pistol cartridge doing it would be neat.

if you look at load data , nothing 230 or 250 gr ever goes super mostly 870-950fps is max even in +P

the same ammo the 1911 and Thompson was running worked and never supersonic

that is why the Delisle carbine works so well
