Keep in mind a large % of them are leveraged up to their eye balls ( in debt) to keep ot the appearance if being rich. Generally those are the ones that are jerks.

The people I know that have true wealth are Generally nice and down to earth.

Usually have wealth because they ain't in hock to hold up appearances. Different mindset of using money to make more money vs using money for things.

JMO, but any boat that ain't making a living, putting food on the table, or in transportion of stuff is second class and shouldn't be on the water.

One of the stupidest things I've ever seen is Sydney Lanier above Atlanta. Whole floating pier marinas lined with 50 foot+ houseboats. No lock in or out, nothing they can do but motor out and go around in circles if they even bother to do that. Heck, just getting them in or out of the lake requires a tractor trailer wide load escort on iffy roads.

I used to think big boats on the warrior back home were dumb but at least they can actually go somewhere if they decided to head downstream.

that is the equivalent to a Lake home on the water without the lake front property taxes . they aren't going anywhere but have waterfront any where they go and someone to do the maintenance on it at the marina.
