Got a umbrella drink recipe for Sevell? Preferably something that compliments buttless chaps?

I got turned on to rye recently, I like a shot or two at room temp. Not much of a hard alcohol drinker, but rye is the only one that doesn't mess up my stomach. Corn, and potatoe alcohols do not agree with me at all.

I dont drink them often but they are a nice refreshment on a hot summer evenin. watch though they will creep up on ya

Speaking of Jameson, we were out to breakfast and Chuckie was wearing Bob Jamesons t shirt and some old fella said to him; boy I like to indulge in that once in a while (the back of a shirt has a red fox holding a bottle of lure) and we laughed when we caught the misunderstanding!

When I have too many cucumbers
I grind and freeze into ice cubes.

Yep. It's summer. Vodka and tonic with a big line wedge is pretty refreshing

2oz of Old Granddad 114 Bourbon (Wild Turkey 101 works very well if you like a lower proof)
3-4oz (more or less to taste) of a good ginger beer (Fever Tree)
A good squeeze of lime juice or not
Plenty of ice
Good to go!

If you don’t like bourbon, try Pikesville rye or Whistle Pig 10 Rye

ran into some canadians on my last trip down in mexico. They wouldnt do shots of whiskey, but we did manage to have a shot of fireball followed by a shot of baileys. It was actually pretty good.
