Y'all ready for the biggest IPO in history? The market sure seems pretty giddy about it. How high do you think SPCX will go tomorrow? Any guesses?

Curious for sure. I wonder what it will drop to when it stabilizes.

That's the real question and why I never considered buying in. I suspect it may be ugly.

I bought a call on the NASA ETF yesterday as I expect all space stocks are gonna get carried with the momentum. NASA is up 14.6% today so so far so good there.

I may play some options on SPCX next week once they start up but I think I'll pass on buying the actual shares.

The fun part is you never know what Elon is gonna say or do that could effect this one way or another.

I think we could see 320 tomorrow

Very few everyday mortals will get in at $135. The more I read about the stock, the less I like it....but that doesnt mean that some folks wont get rich by timing the frenzy correctly.

If you set an order for $135 what are the chances it fills? I've never bought an IPO before, I'm not even sure how it works

I think it will go up for a little while and settle back down when it's real value gets ironed out. My thoughts.

I cannot participate in the IPO as a registered rep. That said, I wouldn't buy the IPO anyway. I own a few hundred shares of Tesla and a couple hundred shares of Rocketlab, maybe they will get a bump. Not that I'm selling either anytime soon. Might consider a few shares after the the market determines a realistic price, in a couple months.

I'm a bit confused. I read last night that trading would start midday today. Now, you posted that SP, and when I just logged into my brokerage site there was a notification saying "Trading for SPCX has been halted." Anyone know what is going on?

I put in an order for 1 share, just so I can folllow along with you guys. If it fills by some miracle at $135 I will try to sell @ $147.50. Just enough profit to annoy my tax guy.

We should of made a game of this, everyone tries to buy and sell one share, winner is who makes the most $ and second place goes to whoever loses the most $

So far it doesn't look like there is much interest in the shares. price is pretty stagnant looking

My gut tells me this is not going to run up as much as anticipated. In 2020 retail traders were sitting at home getting unemployment, stimulus checks, etc. Now I'm seeing people struggling to afford Gasoline, it's a different time.

Ask size is pretty consistently larger than the bid size........

SpaceX’s shares are trading at about $163.78 per share on the Nasdaq under the ticker SPCX

Its to hyped and not been profitable. From my 5 sec search. Not something im interested in. I may regret that but not as much as not buying any MU when I was told it was something I may want to look into. It was in the 400s then and dropped down to the 350s. I missed the boat on that one.
