Currently watching the live coverage of our local weather station.. squall line heading towards my town and there’s reports of tornadoes dropping left and right. Stretor Illinois, about an hour ago got hit and there’s catastrophic damage.
We had a bunch come through last night around midnight.. my phone warning went off. And there was some serious damage done just north of us.

It’s really crazy that Illinois led the United States in tornados last year and looks to be a repeat.
It’s kinda like tornado alley kinda shifted.
Tornadic activity obviously isn’t new here,,, it’s just the increase in occurrences.

Any one else that’s dealing with this bad weather,, just be safe guys. Hopefully I don’t have to help get trees off roofs again tomorrow.

I hope the tornados don't form.

The bad and wet weather keeps missing us. It was supposed to rain and storm every day this week and it didn't. I had to water and need to water again. I don't want the wind, but need the rain and lower humidity. It's hot, humid and awful uncomfortable here.

John, we got scared here for a few hours and just had severe T-storms with lots of rain. But you are correct something changed in our weather patterns.

Seems like this weather should be more like end of July and august.heat and severe storms we've had around 12 to 13 inches of rain in a week.

Glad you guys are ok Mike…fortunate here that nothing bad happened here last night…I guess it could get bad for all of us again this Saturday.
