Over 900 billionaires in this country, Dont feel sad for 1 of them, they lead a high life style with huge homes and many properties, so they may have made many millionaires i believe it was the higher up employees in the Musk chain of his ventures. So they worked hard to make it to that point in life still how well were and how well were those that were the backbone been treated as to pay pension and or retirement? Like the lions share you got what you were able to put away for old age With all the people on here explain to me HOW you can be happy he is a Trillionaire does not help me in any way. My 2 cents. It wasn't only the higher ups as you put it. Janitors, welders, etc.

So all of you have been touched by and made out well by working for a millionaire? just how many have more than they can spend? or you are happy you have made this far in life by working hard to have what have? Hard work is hard work never made me rich other than the fact it fed a family and put a roof over our head. Think about it people times have changed to the point you have to find that money to put away for you to retire on, just how many companies have a or provide a pension fund today, it is what you make it.How much cost is put on people for co-pays so you have insurance and with the inflation in todays world all of you dont worry what the day to day cost is? So you all must have plenty? And the fake news is when they say our young people dont have extra money to save to retire on is BS. Inflation is a nasty circle more wages more inflation, it is said we have to have inflation all it does is you make more they want more.Man creates inflation greed for that almighty dollar man can control it. Must be one heck of a bunch of experts here???? A million dollars isn't what it used to be. I know many many baby boomers and early gen xers that are worth a million plus and all they ever did was punch the time clock, live within their means, make sound decisions, invest and let the power of compounding interest do it's thing. Hard work without a plan isn't enough. Elon buying Twitter and keeping it a free speech platform was monumental

Yep and I know guys that are well off also never married never raised a family just did what they wanted and put money away. What has that got to do with the price of tea in China? I know guys that are well off that did marry and raise families. What they didn't do is sit around on their butts whining about the "unfairness" of some people having more money than they did...... They are people that started their own businesses. Or they are people that worked their way up to higher paying positions.... they weren't content to stay in a dead-end job whining about it..... they made the appropriate choices to better themselves and their station in life. Whenever I hear anyone hating on rich people, first off, it reeks of jealousy and secondly it tells me that that person probably does not have very much initiative.

Not trying to just throw those with all those mills and trills under a bus but in the end just what does all that do for the people as a whole not a darn thing as near as I see,Money is power in the end its how you use it for the good for all or just the few. They say if you took all the money from the wealthy and gave it to everyone less fortunate, it would only be a matter of time before the wealthy got all the money back. Money is more behavior than knowledge.

Not jealous of any person that has that much stinkin money, Just tired of hearing about how great they are. money made from the workin class just how many hours they work a factory job,ya all say they earned it so be it, and as far as initiative been earning what I made from the time I was 10 so I could have things, never had a chance to go on to any further education unless I payed for it know darn good and well how to have had a job and work, so if you all dont like my opinion and the way I see things ...................................... I never look at it the way some do none of you walked the same miles I did I did my best and always wish it could have been more. Would they be great if they gave it all away? Nobody got rich from poor people. Creators have needs and they are filled by people who agree on that value. Slavery ended in 1865. Nobody on this thread has been affected by it.

Yep and I know guys that are well off also never married never raised a family just did what they wanted and put money away. There's not a darn thing preventing you, or anyone else from becoming rich, except all your own personal abilities and qualities. That's one of the greatest things about America. People don't all have the same intelligence, creativity, health, physical prowess and work ethic. That's on them, not anyone else. The more you quality output you put out, the more you get. Keith

I never look at it the way some do none of you walked the same miles I did I did my best and always wish it could have been more. This is actually a pretty good example of how the wealthy corporations can benefit the little folks. You said you never had a chance to go on to any further education unless you paid for it. But I did... due to being helped out by one of those Evil Fortune 500 companies. You see, I got a job working retail at Lowe's. And Lowe's, as one of the perks offered to their employees, paid 100% of the cost of my education to obtain a bachelor's degree. While working at Lowe's and simultaneously also earning my degree, I was putting about 10% of my income into the 401k plan offered by the company. The company matched 6% of it. So, when I eventually left Lowe's, I rolled that 401k over into an IRA, which I then began actively managing. By spending many hours on the management of that account, I have been able to increase it enough, in less than a year's time, to pay for my master's degree, which I am currently pursuing. NONE of that would have been possible if not for that big, evil corporation I worked for.

You do realize if you spend 100% of your time pointing out other peoples short comings or opportunities to do better, you have zero time left to improve your own life.
I don't think the whole blame someone else game has probably ever improved anyone's position.
