Was thinking about a couple of conversations I read on Trapperman.
Sealing boards to minimize bacteria and for easier removal.
I have bout 4 extra gallons of floor stain w/ polyurethane. And was thing about making a dip tank with some unused sewer pipe. Just a quick dip then air dry. All my boards I have set up with eye screws that hang on hooks to dry nose down.
Any downside to sealing the boards?
I know there will be holes in them once I put up fur but just wondering bout anybody's thoughts.
Thanks

Ya can't miss fur if yur traps are out somewhere.
Or so I've been told.

Completely unnecessary IMHO, but can't hurt anything if you want to give it a try.

I would think you would want that bit of absorption that bare wood gives. To help dry a pelt thats turned fur out.

Quick spray with wd40 and wipe with a rag-keeps grease off the fur when boarded fur in.
