Guys, from everything I’m seeing,, it looks like extremely dangerous weather in the Midwest today.
I know we’ve all been through storms, but this one looks pretty bad. Tornado activity is going to be immeient from what I’m hearing.
Be safe guys and pay attention,,,
It’s when we get nonchalant and careless is when we get bit.
Not sure how every thing shifted,,, but we apparently have a new tornado alley being the Mississippi River basin.

yup keep an eye on it , WI has always been the NE end of tornado alley it seems for my life time.

I wonder if the droughts west play a part in shifting the tornadoes more east

In the 70s and early 80s there was a lot of tornadic activity coming out of Arkansas, across the Missouri boot heel and into Illinois. So while there is increased activity, it isn't really a new area.

Tornado just missed , it shifted south of town , we were in the bathroom!!.
Currently watching the live tornado hitting effingham now…
Charleston was hit HARD,,, trailers flipped and significantly damaged the fairgrounds.

I was just on phone with good friend in Effingham. He said it was pretty bad

That was the one that shifted ,, it was headed directly towards me,,, our local news station did a remarkable job of covering this,, we watched the tornado as it was moving and destroying everything in its path. Incredible coverage.
Unfortunately we saw a farmhouse take a direct hit and the corvette museum is obliterated.
