Check out the most recent post by FH about the June sale.

Pay very close attention to Lynx cat percent sold. 94% (sundry owner, trapper goods).. do you understand what that means????

Dealer lots with limits are NOT included in that number. Which is what I have been saying along!!! You are welcome!!

I pronounce wissmiss the winner of that particular debate. The % of sold lynx cats was a lot less than 94% when factoring in dealer lots.

I have nothing clever to put here.

They said sundry in their prelim report too didn’t they?
I don’t think anyone disagreed with you, slick doesn’t count as he’s inside looking out at the rest. Being inside, he doesn’t see the big picture…..lol

Sundry goods are all the pelts dried in the sun.

Yes, they said “sundry goods” in their initial report but it was in the fine print at the bottom. Now it is specifically with the lynxcats % sold.

Correct. They got the money for fancy equipment.
I ran into an old trapper last fall while I was out trapping beaver. He said he only traps the odd one for fun now a days. Said it’s not worth it for $5 to hit ‘em hard. I went to his place to chat some more and he showed me his couple catches……..tacked onto the shed “drying” in the sun. Never dry as there was still 1/4” of fat on the thing! Asked when he was going to flesh it, he said they’re done…….lol. He didn’t say who he sold them to, but I’d say he’s lucky getting $5…..
He also said when marten are over $15, he’ll go after them again…….lol
