I've never been sick, but...stay clear of the coconut shrimp at the buffets...there's a reason that heavy delicious sauce is on it...lol

I was the milkman for a couple years serving area restaurants, everything I brought in went in the walk-in. It certainly changed where we were dining out. lol

Went with the old man on a service call once as a kid to a VERY upscale restaurant....went through the back of course....it was the dirtiest most disgusting kitchen I've ever seen to this day, you literally stuck to the floor, how it ever passed a health inspection is beyond me...
This place served the wealthiest patrons in the area, if they only knew, lol

There isn't any good Chinese food around me. Just the normal crap. The city is 1.5 hours away for the good stuff.

I'm not funny about what I eat and Chinese food sure doesn't bother me. Probably the weirdest thing I ate with a guy was these meat cheerios looking things. It was sliced up chicken neck.

There used to be a buffet in Charlotte that was silver pots with lids... youd pull the one lid off and there would be chicken feet in there boiling around. I never could bring myself to gnaw on one.

If you don't know the history in China they were really poor and so many people had to eat rats, cats, dogs or whatever to survive and when times weren't as bad it became a delicacy. In our culture itd be a biscuit sopping up squirrel gravy.

I worked in a restaurant for years. I never saw anyone purposely do anything gross to anyones food and would consider our restaurant as pretty clean but there were roaches, they'd treat but at times it was bad.

They didn't crawl around on the food or anything but more like youd go to clean the stove after the gas burners being on all day and lift the top of the stove off to clean around the burners and they'd be crawling around on burning hot metal like nothing.

It was a mexican place and like where you would keep chips they were all down in the bottom of the chip warmer.

There was one time though I went to a Chinese place and was taking a late lunch and I walked in at like 3 and the guy standing over at the stove made eye contact with me and then looked over at a boiling pot and pulled it off the stove and went around the corner to the back with it. After he turned the corner I was like did I just see a carcass bobbing in that pot? That was pretty weird / gross.

Remember they said the Haitians were eating all the ducks and geese in Springfield O? They tried to say that was fake news but the locals seem to ask where all the ducks and geese are.
