Nice, I like to window shop all the new bows but am too poor to pony up the funds to buy one.

What does a new compound usually run nowadays? I still shoot my antique pse lightning flite. the sky is the limit but lets say guns are cheaper. it is not uncommon to have 1500-2K in a bow these days all set up
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

What does a new compound usually run nowadays? I still shoot my antique pse lightning flite. Bare bow prices can run from 500-1000 for mid level models, to 1200+ for companies flagship models. I am about the same as you my bow is 18 years old, I did buy another bow this year but its 19 years old.

I'm still shooting an Outback Mathews Bow. I believe that is was introduced in 2000. Still kills big game every year but it would be nice to upgrade.

Thats what I just upgraded from snowy. Wow! It has been a great bow. I bought a second one a few years after I had the first. I needed a backup bow ready to hunt if the one went down. Let us know how things turn out with your new bow. I still use a whisker biscuit as a rest and have had zero problems etc.. If I ever upgraded I would have a biscuit again.

Nessmuck, were you listening to the Grease Man on the radio and heard that term? Bruce I agree that a whisker biscuit is a good hunting rest I believe more than a few beginning Archer's don't learn proper drawing technique when they start out with it. In my opinion it allows you to be sloppy and still make the shot, which is not a bad thing at all, but IMO technically proper shooting form should be established before adding gadgets Nice bow.

What I love is regardless what angle your shooting from a treestand your arrow does not fall off your arrow rest with a whisper biscuit ,and you can concentrate on the deer and your shot as you don't have to look at your arrow rest when your drawing your bow back.
