Nice, I like to window shop all the new bows but am too poor to pony up the funds to buy one.

That's ugly whistle

Needs to be a 66" - 68" recurve or longbow.

the sky is the limit but lets say guns are cheaper.

it is not uncommon to have 1500-2K in a bow these days all set up

Bare bow prices can run from 500-1000 for mid level models, to 1200+ for companies flagship models. I am about the same as you my bow is 18 years old, I did buy another bow this year but its 19 years old.

Had never heard of them before. Looked them up, sounds like a nice rifle. Never shot a PRC, but with a 6 pound rifle, it might nudge a little wink

Haven’t looked at bow prices in about 20 years. Yikes the high end stuff is crazy!
But I guess that goes for everything.

Congrats on your new Bow. Its a nice one for sure!
Two years ago, I replaced my Hoyt TurboHawk that I bought in 2010 with a new Hoyt RX-8. I did not think there would be that much difference but I was completely wrong.
Enjoy your new bow, money well spent!

I'm still shooting an Outback Mathews Bow. I believe that is was introduced in 2000. Still kills big game every year but it would be nice to upgrade.

Wow! It has been a great bow. I bought a second one a few years after I had the first. I needed a backup bow ready to hunt if the one went down.

Let us know how things turn out with your new bow. I still use a whisker biscuit as a rest and have had zero problems etc.. If I ever upgraded I would have a biscuit again.

Nessmuck, were you listening to the Grease Man on the radio and heard that term? whistle

Bruce I agree that a whisker biscuit is a good hunting rest
I believe more than a few beginning Archer's don't learn proper drawing technique when they start out with it.
In my opinion it allows you to be sloppy and still make the shot, which is not a bad thing at all, but
IMO technically proper shooting form should be established before adding gadgets

Nice bow.

What I love is regardless what angle your shooting from a treestand your arrow does not fall off your arrow rest with a whisper biscuit ,and you can concentrate on the deer and your shot as you don't have to look at your arrow rest when your drawing your bow back.
