Does anyone know where to get otter stretchers that are 8 inches wide and 6 feet long.

Hope burns eternal in the heart of a trapper.

There's nothing colder than a fur buyers heart!

I am sure Leonard from Top Lot Stretcher Company would make them any way you like. His stuff is QUALITY but shipping on a 6 foot board may be a deal breaker. I guess you could always check with him and you may be able to pick them up at one of the western conventions he is at.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Go down to the lumber yard and get some 8 inch soft cedar boards and make some.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I would give it a week, ODFW will set regulations next friday and they are looking to close otter trapping in 80% of the state.

Get the dimensions and make your own. I have a good amount of basswood and made all my own.

My stretchers (homemade) are 7 5/8 at the skirt and have won numerous put-up awards at the sales. I think they're basswood or pine if I remember right. Newhouse 114 made ‘em.
