When pulling them?

I’ve only used them a few times. Are they pretty much 100 percent reusable?

Yes, reusable.and I've bent my share of them. Just hammer them back into some semblance of shape.

I have bent a lot of them! Duckbills are my favourite and I reuse them! I don’t even know if they still make duckbills, since I bought a whole bunch years ago.

Yep, but I rarely pull 'em anymore. Cut the cable and go.

If you want to pull them...go to PCS Outdoors and buy those 7ga Fangs they make. Only $40/100. You WON'T bend those pulling them.

Super stakes for me. Bang in a piolet hole and use anything to push down the stake end, pull back and you are done. I have heard that some people have broken them but I have not......jk

If you have a good auger and drill, you can just drill down beside the chain/cable, and they'll usually just pop out without too much trouble.

With enough messing around with tile spade or auger I'll save a high percentage---- somewhat dependent on where I'm at and whether its a sandy loam or pure hard pan clay. But with more like half hearted effort on the auger/spade, I pretty routinely bend them. Basically think in terms of being in a hurry when pulling part of extended line to head to next area and not wanting to spend alot of time digging around. But if I'm in a super hurry I'll do like swamp wolf and cut and go---still takes some effort as I seldom run a straight cable attachment so theres at least a little digging. Yep you can bend/pound the damaged ones back into shape. BUT I'd venture my best guestimate as being that gives you one or two more uses out of them. Once they are bent my experience is they are NOT going to serve you well for any length of time. I seldom put the effort into reshaping them anymore. Every year using them anymore reminds me that theres alot to like about rebar. And alot to not like too lol
