Im guess at that age and being a 4H rodeo they will likely be putting them on steers not bulls. Likely no more dangerous than play football.

Tell him he pays the medical bills if it goes south

In the 4 h rodeo tomorrow night. His mom said its up to me.. They have all the protective gear. For some reason they told him he could if he could balance standing on a basketball for 30 seconds which he can do.

I dont think its a great idea but also dont want to deny him an opportunity in life. Whats the verdict of the t man crowd.

If he wants to im going to tell him to go for it. The kid has alwayd been heck on wheels. Before his 450 dirt bike broke he was ridding wheelies pretty close to vertical for 80 to 100 yards or more in the road in front of the house.

If I had 1500 at 15 I woulda been rich if it were one of my three boys I would let them do it . Once they got hurt there done

4H rodeo is gonna have pretty mild stock. It will be more fun than dangerous for him.
