I bought a little MIG 90 Lincoln a year ago…fluxed core is AC, and if I hook up gas it’s dc . Bought the .035 wire sold at Fleet. I think. I welded up 50 3/8” T-bars and haven’t had a weld break yet. I’ve welded just as many D- rings on near the top of kill poles and such. Best investment I have made for a while.

The possibilities are endless.

changing the polarity is easy.

You are correct BandB.

Especially if using to build something where structural integrity is critical for safety....such as building a utility trailer for road use or repairing something that could result in injury if it failed.

It is smart to use the right stuff.
