As far as Hal being the author, I have no idea about how much he was involved in the snare laws, or getting snaring in Ohio.
While I was on his site, he did seem to be involved in many DNR issues.
I haven't been on his site in years, so have no idea what he did or didn't do.
Just that he was active in the regulations , and remember something about keeping beaver trapping season after Christmas.
Something about primness, which I fine strange, as most fur is prime in early December .

I thought everyone knew Hal invented trapping, not long after he invented snaring, lol.

I can't even remember now all the people i listened to at convention's over the years showing off 'their' new inventions knowing it was old stuff id seen in magazines in late 70's early 80's. But hey, they became the new hero's of trapping and some show up now as 'leaders' in national organization's so it works to toot your own horn if no one else will.

If Hal was here with us he would ask for Peace and Tranquility, lol.
