Mine too but mine showed $21.00 express . Not counting the $45.00 it took to ship it to the agent. So I have $66.00 in total shipping.

Your agent had to get that fur to North Bay. $15 is chump change.

Do the agents drive direct to North Bay (picking up furs along their route) or are there FHA collection points where the agents transfer the furs?

Eh...wot?

Our agents live at home. They do pickups on weekends around the provinces they in. Then the western Canadian fur gets shipped to Winnipeg where Darcy starts to enter stuff & grade coyotes. Then it’s shipped to NB.
I’m guessing your fur gets shipped up through a broker.

It used to be that a truck was sent west to pick up FHA fur in Washington with stops in-between and then going back to Wisconsin.

The US agents deliver or ship their collected goods to the FHdepot in Cambridge, Wisconsin. Everything is shipped via truck to NB from there.

Even non CITES goods need paperwork and inspection. That is the purpose of the Us depot. Not practical for each receiving agent to do their own paperwork.

I think the agents do a good amount of paper work cataloging everything and making sure the tickets are in all the bags.. At least the loose stuff that gets picked up/dropped off.
