Shakey....my father in law and his lead fabricater...went to Canada back in the 80's ..

They were at a restaurant and the waiters and staff were talking

Smack about them ...being American. Of course they were talking French..

But the lead Fabricater ( Buzzy ) ...spoke fluid French .

So Buzzy let them have their fun...and then lit them up

In French....said he would do very bad things to them...

They changed their tune real guick.

Haha, same thing happened with my in-laws. They’re French, but not Quebec French, very different sounding apparently.
They spoke English the whole time at a restaurant to to see what’s happened. Of course they got ridiculed in French. When they went to pay they all spoke French to the cashier…….red faces and jaws hit the floor….lol
