In indiana there is a record book class for deer found dead. That my be a national thing im not sure. Guy at o e of the state youth draw hunts that was ate up with antlers brought up durring his talk. I like nisce racks but dont get to worked up about either kind.

PA archery state record is a dead head, supposedly they guy hit it but didnt find it for over a month.
