This was the last one I caught. In a #3 Bridger two coiled softcatch of all things. Wasn’t a target specie so had to be released.

How do you go about releasing one of those things?

Just with a catch pole! If I’m by myself I render them unconscious before removing the trap. There was another set of hands available on this one so I just waited until I had it calmed down and then released the foot.

It's releasing the foot that's the tricky part.
