The news was saying earlier today that over 181,000 people died in Europe from the heat between 2022 and 2024. People in France and Spain are currently dropping like flies. People in Spain, Italy, Germany and France are frequently prohibited from using air conditioning, to save electric.

I'm doing my chores on the farm first thing in the morning, until it cools back down. We have 104F to 108F heat index most of the week.

I did see that Europe is warm, but I'm talking about the heat and humidity here. Yes it's hot, but this Extreme Heat Warning stuff is just silly.

In much of Europe the politicians won't allow AC, cause it causes global warming....so basically people dying there is our fault....

They should have a cornstarch level instead of a heat level.

Most of our ancestors left Europe for a few reasons.

Dew point here right now is a steamy 74. Anything above 70 is pretty dang uncomfortable. Got to take it a little easy when working outside.
