7 bucks with bellies full of my sunflowers. They eat my flowers and I eat them.
We just returned from a 2,900 mile road trip thru New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Quebec. In all that distance we saw 2 deer, 5 fox and 1 snowshoe rabbit. That was the total live animals. Of that distance we travelled 16 miles in New Jersey. In NJ we saw 1 bear, 1 fox , 1 bobcat and over 25 deer.

We have a plague of deer here now too. I had to get a nuisance permit again. They have cost me a few thousand over the last few weeks in fruit, tree and potted plant damage.

That’s Nice Eric , I hunted Very Hard in Maryland for 3 months and only seen 3 Deer , When I lived in Washington state , Idaho and Utah it was so Easy

I dont know what part of N.Y. you drove through,,,or what time of day,,because we have tons of Deer where I live.

Interstate 84 from Port Jervis to Brewster on the way to Canada and then also on the way home. Once in the morning and once in the late afternoon.

I harvested the biggest deer on my land last year, and never put a seed in the ground. Planted food plots for 25 years. With fields the deer know there is food and come when they want. when I bait they want to be there for the good stuff ? And with a buck behind the doe, during pre rut. Maybe I was lucky.

What do you think of Quebec ? I would like to see it and N Ontario .

It must have been the wrong time of day Eric because there are a lot of critters along the sides of 84, especially in all of the swampy areas between Port and Middletown.
