I’m wondering how many of you folks have certain ideas about what might bring about either good or bad luck? I believe these ideas fall into two categories: simple ‘stitions, and SUPERstitions. Simple ‘Stitions would be things like black cats and walking under ladders. Superstitions would be things that have proven themselves to be infallibly correct 100% of the time! Peeler and I have only encountered a single Superstition in our lengthy careers on the trapline. Too much beer has caused this to be tested a time or two with rather disastrous results. You WILL NOT get either of us to explain what this superstition is because even contemplating it can create unpleasant circumstances! Carl will probably dislike even reading this post because it will immediately bring to mind this particular superstition and the resulting consequences!
