It must've been one heck of an amount of fireworks that were in that house. Smoking around them also doesn't seem to be the smartest move either but the IQ among the 5 residents may not reach triple digits. They just altered someone's life by displacing them so I hope they have good insurance.

That wasn't normal bottle rockets and firecrackers like many of us used to shoot off years ago. That had to be some powerful stuff. I hope the neighbor can get their life back on track after this.

An empty house in the city (St. Louis) was found crammed with fireworks and materials to make more, and was safely emptied out.

I know that sounds like a lot but 700# of fireworks really isn’t that much. They are a lot heavier than you think.

700 pounds would be equal to about 100 eight inch mortar shells. There were probably more smaller ones and perhaps some larger ones involved.
