i prefer 1 1/2 to 2 pounder to eat.
I cook the filets in a microwave.
I put butter in the bottom of the glass container, place the filets in the dish and sprinkle some seasoning suitable for fish and cover the container with saran wrap with a few holes poked in it.
Takes about 8 minutes on high give or take.
Word is that what's really going on here is broiling. Most household ovens aren't suitable to properly broil fish. A good microwave is.

That is one heck of a stringer of bad eating there. I bet they were fun to catch.

I have nothing clever to put here.

160user, there's some good chow sitting there. You just don't know a burrow from a burro. I'll have to cook you some eventually.

Fish from cold, clean water. Walleye, Crappie and Bluegill mostly. An occasional Northern Pike if I can get someone else to clean the stinking things. Boco would call them "Jacks".

I have nothing clever to put here.

Thanks Sam! I appreciate the offer but I already had plans to rearrange my sock drawer that day. The day you are cooking walleye or Halibut I am available though.

He acts like he looks like Miranda Lambert, but he actually looks like that lesbian Ellen that had the talk show. He thinks he's high society.

Blackened bass has become a staple around my house. Makes better blackened fish than anything else I have tried from Minnesota.

I have made it at a few conventions for the walleye purists. I’m not sure I have changed their ways, but most do admit it’s pretty good.

Also a good way to stay gluten free for those who need it.

If it wasn't for womenfolk, y'all would still be cooking your fish on a stick over a fire.... or in a microwave or something. lol

All of them. Flathead are the better of the three. But catfish aren't very high up on my fine eating list.
