It is sad. As I have aged things have changed!!
I use to ride dirty to Mn. Pickup a pickup load of fireworks from Indiana.
Fill the cab up with booze and firearms.
Drive the Redeye to Mn

Now nothing but memories)))))))!!!!!!

But what about all the smoke and climate change?

A lot are geting lit off around hear much to my dogs dismay she is attached to my hip wedged between my wife and I panting out of nervousness not being hot.

Took the kids to their first real show and it did not disappoint. We were at the little town park and neighbors were shootin some big ones but didnt compare to what the city shot off. If you are near Inwood, IA on the 4th, they do a nice job. Followed a demolition derby. Kids had a blast.

Last show I was at was offshore of a beach community...we were tasked with keeping boats out of the safety perimeter....of course we were in it, lol

The pressure wave from the bombs ran through you, burning debris and hot ash falling on the boat, couldn't even see the works cause you couldn't keep your head craned up ...

Whole thing was less fun than you might imagine...

Not shooting any for years ... no need to, the richer neighbors put on a heck of an aerial display every year. Christine enjoys the show from our balcony, I can take it or leave it.
