beaverpeeler OP trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Oregon	July of 1983 and the US Embassy (Quito, Ecuador) had a big 4th of July party to which we Peace Corps volunteers were invited. (I met and shook hands with George Bush there, then VP to Reagan). A couple of my PC buddies were supposed to be on an Ecuadorian domestic flight the next day from Quito to Cuenca, but because they got completely wasted (on the free Budweiser beer the embassy had brought in) they had humongous hangovers and ended up missing their flight. The next day that 737 on approach to mountainous and foggy Cuenca clipped a mountain top and all 119 passengers perished in a fireball. SO drink up! May save your life.
