Every night on the back porch rain or shine I indulge.

Rotate through 30 different pipes and bowl stuffings.

Life is short, enjoy every moment.

I'm sick as a dog so I won't be partaking any. Enjoy it for me. You picked a good one.

I only smoked Cutty pipe and Five brothers in a cob pipe when I was a kid. Now I enjoy a good cigar or two. Nothing like smoking to take time off from the rat race.

My fellow smokers. Is it cheaper to smoke a pipe than a cheaper 4 or 5 dollar cigar. Will one bowl last for an hour. And what are the natural tobacco you recommend that is not scented or flavored. I know you have to get a pipe and cleaners.

Pipe is definitely cheaper ..than cigars by faah.

Just keep filling the bowl..until you get your fix of Vitamin N.

Cant stand the aeromatics either.

The baccy I listed is Top Tier..

Mc Crannies red ribbon is nice also... Both Virginia baccy

I’ve thought about it, there’s a Swedish variety that pretty early that would work here, just never done it.

I enjoy smoking amy grandfather's briarwood pipe. Something about the smell of cherry pipe tobacco mixed with castor is soothing to me. [Linked Image]

So what are the characteristics of a quality pipe? How do you examine one to determine quality? How often do you clean one and why? What is the best cleaning method?

My dad smoked a pipe some. Very few times.

Strangely enough, I can remember going to see the doctor when I was a kid. Dr. Mills. When he sat down to write the script he would always light his pipe in the office with me and mom or dad and would always give me a piece of fruit stripe gum. What memories.

My first double was a 16g ranger. I think probably a savage made for sears or similar it was only 225 and in such great shape I could not pass it up. I Have 2 rough 12s that were my wifes grandpaw and her great uncle's as well.

Always thought I may pick up a 410 or 28 if I run across one that fits and points well for me.
