I have a hen call duck that is over 2 years old. The only eggs she has ever laid are 3 eggs about the size of sparrow eggs. Is there any hope she will ever lay normal eggs? Iwould like to raise some babies from her.

If you haven't, feed her a duck layer ration and make sure she has at least 14 hours of light.

I'd say get a new hen if you want ducklings. What you described is a problem, probably genetic. New stock is in order.

You sure she’s not eating them? I’ve had ducks that would eat eggs within minutes of laying them. Usually you’ll see signs like yolk on their bills or shell pieces. Idk what makes em do it but once they start it’s impossible to break them of it

I think there is something wrong with her. She has laid three eggs but they were all very tiny. I am sure she is not eating her eggs. She is our favorite one so even if she never lays we will still keep her.
