Have been adding some LPC`s to my collection in June. Between Sidney and Grand Rapids I picked up 7 new ones.
Wish I could have purchased more of the Bill Applegate collection at Sidney but I was excited to get one flat of four.
Picked up 3 more from friends at Grand Rapids!
Had them out to sort so I took a couple pics.

Nice collection!
I need an LPC. It would look good hanging next to the Newhouses.

I am not exactly sure of what Bill used on lions. There were some of Bill`s user traps at the auction. They were No. 8 offset LPC`s with a 8 foot chain and heavy drag.

You better head west Pete, and get one of those LPCs with the Mech jaws on it....

Bill Applegate much preferred 4.5 Newhouse for lions but also used LPC in later years. Both were heavily modified by him and had 30 ft of chain with heavy custom drag.

I just took some up to Tom Parr last week.

Thanks for the replies. I swapped some Newhouse parts with Bill a few times and for some reason I thought he said something about using the #48 traps with long chains and drags?
I probably mis-understood....
