For those who use the Jake trap, what are the pros and cons? Would these traps be good for live market?

From my experience it depends on the buyer some won't take a foot hold caught animal no matter the trap some will its best to ask the buyer.

These traps are pretty strong. I had a few coyotes last year that it flattened their foot pretty decent. I’m not sure what the live market requires though

Teddybear....did it look like there was still circulation in the foot? Swollen? I don't know for sure , but my live market buyer claims that if they lose circulation for anything but a short time, the foot is dead and they will lose it eventually. Makes sense to me. I've caught yotes that had some swelling in the foot but by the time I got them to the buyer they were fine.

Usually if they don't have any broken toe bones he accepts them.
