Going from memory it seems like most lures were 2.50 for quite a spell in the late 70s throughout the 80s.

When you purchase a bottle of lure there’s more factored in the price than the contents, bottle, label, and labor of mixing and bottling.

You are buying the luremaker’s experience, time and expense spent testing, and and all other expenditures developing that lure.

I would hope so. Most trappers are big supporters of tariffs.

Agreed, the majority of trappers support putting America first and not being hamstrung by other countries.

When I toured Mr Jameson’s “lab” I got a healthy dose of what goes into lure making. Laborious and time consuming. Anyone who devotes their life to such an undertaking is due kudos. And a few extra bucks to make it worthwhile.

Cheapskate that I am.... for many years I just picked up mudpies on my line and swapped places with them until I had some beavers to make up a fresh batch of lure for myself. Lately I've been buying some of Dobbin's Backbreaker to start the season with. Good stuff and gets the job done. I'll still be buying some of your lure Paul. Most often combined in an order with other stuff from MTP.

At lest you lure makers don't increase the price as often as the Post Office increases their rates.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.
