Can anyone give me info on the new house 150 trap? I'm fairly new to trap collecting. I was gifted a trap from someone but it's all in pieces and zero rust. The only problem is that the base is missing. Do you think there's any chance in finding a base overtime? I thought about just getting one made to get it together even though it would decrease value but I feel like there's a slim chance I'd ever come across one. Does anyone have one they could get measurements? Thank you

Searching for the right part is just part of collecting, welcome to the club. I have seen them surface in the past - watch ebay and check the tailgaters at trapping conventions, etc. Patience is your friend...

If it were me, I'd just wait on the correct part to restore it but if you're determined to build one, the base is 11" long x 1.5" wide x 1/4" thick. The total length of the cross is 10.75" long to include the bend up to the dog, same width and thickness.
Hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks a lot for the specs, I appreciate it. I do have the cross, I just need the base. I may try to find one for a while, if not I'll have one made and can always replace it if I find one. Thanks again for the reply

If you already have the cross and pan, then having a base made would make more sense in the short term. With a little work you can probably get the base to come close to matching the rest of the trap for display purposes.
