I have a mole job coming up at a rural property. Once upon a time it was a homestead, but the only thing left is 3-4 trees. It's right at the intersection of a gravel road and highway, so it's high visibility. I usually mark with white flags, but my concern is that this may end up looking like a cemetery on Memorial Day once it's set. Ideas on how to mark these so they don't draw so much attention, but I can still find them? Thanks!

If you need a ton of traps, use a ton of flags! It is what it is! The customers will be fine with it. They hired you to fix their problem. You’re doing that!

You can use anything you want to mark the traps. Different color flags, chop sticks, rebar, spray paint… your imagination is the limiting factor.

We had Blackburn Mfg. make us a 1000 ct. company monogrammed wire stem flags for us many years ago. We like the neon pink, they are quite easily seen. With "Do Not Disturb" printed on them. We have used them many times over and for other projects as well.

It is better to flag a trap then to waste time trying to find set traps particularly the Trapline traps that are totally under ground. We use them to anchor our tethers also on our traps so those occasional poorly caught moles don't wiggle away from the set area.
