Not wasting money on the red and white. Before I’d fly any flag on my property, I’d know exactly what it represents. I’m sure you’ve done a little more research other than Amazon. You sure come across as a very unhappy fella but the flag pretty much stands for what I'm hoping for with a few differences. We want to end liberalism and become our independent country while maintaining our way of life. Pretty much the same but with 2026 values. Independence: They wanted to leave the United States and form their own country, the Confederate States of America. States' rights: Confederates argued that states had the right to govern themselves without federal interference. However, this argument was closely tied to protecting slavery. In fact, the Confederate government supported strong federal laws when they protected slavery, such as requiring the return of escaped enslaved people.

I ain’t no US history buff, but I’m pretty sure I know how that idea played out. The Nazis had the odd good idea, some even joined us and helped get man to the moon. I won’t ever be flying a Nazi flag though……lol. Unhappy? Just living the dream working up in Gods country. Sometimes you don’t know what you got until it’s gone.

Comparing southerners to germans shows just how shallow your intellect actually is and just how vile and pernicious the education system has become. Do your own research. Start with the money, it's always about money. Dig into the economy and how the founders set up the republic to gain it's funding then watch it progress through from founding to the first half of 19th century. Modern history would have have believe the seccession sprang up out of the blue in 1860 over the singular event of electing an abolitionist president, none of which is true, particularly the abolitionist president. He was a tax hawk instead. Nor was it a movement out of the blue, seccession was a topic and movement that had always been in the body politic of the republic and it originated as early as the quasiwar with France under our second president in the New England states. No, seccession was a long time coming and in an honest assessment inevitable thing for a voluntary compact of sovereign states. In that one, the republic failed to abide by both its supreme law Constitution and its claimed principles. By forcibly denying seccession the republic was destroyed by any definition of a republic.

I would argue that without voluntary peaceful seccession as a lawful protected option and ultimate check in our system of checks and balances then all other checks are now meaningless having only the strength of tradition and lip service. Because ultimately without it we are subject to the tyranny of the majority or strangely enough as long as one side abides by the legal fiction, the tyranny of the minority as we are now experiencing. It all puts the lie to Jefferson's words,
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness".
